EOS Surfaces is committed to putting science first. When we first developed EOS^cu, we went through the rigorous EPA registration process to ensure that we could make public health claims about infection reduction. Then we embarked on the largest-to-date clinical trial of biocidal surfaces, followed with a bioburden study at the VA which has led to a $3 million NIH grant. 

As we all confront the challenges of slowing the spread of COVID-19, we wanted to again lead with the science. Thankfully, a team at the NIH saw fit to include copper as one of the surfaces used to test the surface stability of SARS-CoV-2. Their findings showed that the virus survived on copper only 4 hours, compared to 24-72 hours on cardboard, plastic, and stainless steel.
