Proven Results through Science
EOS Surfaces is committed to putting science first. When we first developed EOScu, we went through the rigorous EPA registration process to ensure that we could make public health claims about infection reduction. Then we embarked on the largest-to-date clinical trial of biocidal surfaces, followed with a bioburden study at the VA which has led to a $3 million NIH grant.
As we all confront the challenges of slowing the spread of COVID-19, we wanted to again lead with the science. Thankfully, a team at the NIH saw fit to include copper as one of the surfaces used to test the surface stability of SARS-CoV-2. Their findings showed that the virus survived on copper only 4 hours, compared to 24-72 hours on cardboard, plastic, and stainless steel.
